So bummed out now, saw in the news that Hong Kong and Taiwan already selling HP OoP. Mauuuuu donggggggggggg...hiks hiks.

So, after finding this site what did I do? printing the text of course... of all the 3 albums. Now I have the printed pinyin text of songs from Taoism, I'm OK and Black Tangerine. What does it actually means? Well, I can try to sing along with Dave.. try being the key word here, coz somehow chinese is like French.. kinda different ro pronounce what exactly they're written...i wish all language is like bahasa indonesia.. what you see is what you read. ^_^ Can't wait for Indy to finish translating I'm Ok so then I can understand what the lyrics were all about! *_^

Saturday was a full day for me. As usual, Bu Jay picked me up and then together we went to SFC office. We did a bit of work, mainly to discuss my work so far on the third bulletin. Then we just chatted while waiting for another member to come coz we're going out to lunch together. The damn AC was broken man... and I hate being cooped up in a room with no Air Con, plus the day was back to hot hot hot that Saturday... me being sweaty... not a happy me. Then finally Susan arrived and we all went to Pizza Hut coz Yovie was craving for the thing since last week! He he he he.. I know the feeling. Anyway, when got there another new member was already there, so the 9 of us were eating and chatting and looking at pictures of the new girl has, and boy..that was quite a lot of photo album she has. F4 in Jakarta, Malaysia, Singapore (turned out she's the kind that has loads of dough to chase around the "area" ). 5566, Energy, and Richie Ren. She was nice... There's one pic that got me burst out laughing out loud (note to self: must remember not to laugh so loud in public!!! *_^) Its a picture of when Energy was in town, it was at the airport, there's a bunch of people in that one picture, the main aim was of course the members of the group but were they there..nope. only a tiny head of someone (I think it was either Shu Wei or Niu Nai)..and quite a large scale pic of... SFC members!! @_@ At the very front was Yovie, and then Bu Jay..chasing the group with her camera!... should've scanned the pic.. it was quite a hilarious thing to see, for me anyway ^_^

Finished lunch, which were already past 3 pm!, Bu Jay dropped me at a junction and I continued with Angkot 44 to Sta Tebet and then from there to Campus. Just in time, coz about half an hour later... Taiko!!! Wow...those guys and gals must've have some muscles on their arms... me, Prita-chan and MayLee commented how we love seeing Panji then, instead of when he played around pretending to be a pengamen!..not a pretty sight! he he he he and at the end I teased him with "Panji..I took a close-up pic of you!" he he he he hates having his pic taken. I don't get it with people so paranoid with having their pic taken, I'm not a photogenic myself..in fact I can be quite scare in photos.. with my wide silly grin and chubby cheeks and all, but i love beong photographs, specially with a group of friends and family at special occasion... you know, kinda, keeping record of a memory.
anyway......back to the Nihon Bunka.... was looking forward to the Bon Odori (where all audience who wanted to join the dance make a big circle, circling the stage and we dance ..or trying to follow the dancers' steps) coz hte years before it was the funnest thing to do at the end of the fest, but this year...it just sucks. I don't know why, maybe coz there's to many people at a small space, the music contantly stopped so suddenly, ..it just.. well, it wasn't as fun as before..which was a shame coz everybody was really looking forward to this ending. And...!! the little piggy that hang on my phone has gone!!! didn't know how it could've dropped coz the cross was still there... a major bummed out factor there....Oh well...

After that, at around 7pm, I changed my circle of friend, said buhbye to Maylee and Priwitan, and joined the Teater Pintu crew coz we're going to Gita's house. When we arrived some peeps already there... we ate, we sang silly songs, we chatted and laughed out loud (this time I'm not alone... he he he he ^_^)we sang the "happy birthday" song like 4 times i think (for Gita and PaDe' [actually his name is Pak Dicky, but i nicknamed him PaDe...and guess what, it stuck, everyone called him that now.. *_^ - the lecturer who also our hang out buddy...if there's such a thing). Bung Iwan, the funny literary lecturer and theater's director, also came with his wife and lil daughter. The shock of the night for me?? When I was sitting comfy-ly watching the recording of our last year play.... suddenly another lecturer came in...OMG!!! the one lecturer that i avoided this whole semester coz i bailed out of her class!! But she didn't really concern about it as much as I do apperntly, but the one who got the trouble was my buddy, Aray, coz she laready absent 4 times!! he he he he gambatte ne Ari!!! turned out she can still join the Final Exam... *pheww* Mr. Dicky drove me home at around 10.30 pm and when I got home.. Lady and Kelly said hello in their most loud barking ever.... geez...

well.... back to the real world.... my translation needs to be done, so...break's over.

I'm so very tired... translation deadline... darn it i missed the Nihon Bunka at campus. Hopefully i can go the Saturday one... I wanna see the Taiko, i wanna dance the Bon Odori and they say there's gonna be fire works for the final thingy... coolness.

but nothing made me more excited this minute than finding that the'res finally FINALLY an english website on my main squeeze, my man, the godfather of chinese R&B.. David Tao!!! whua ha ha ha ha ha... heh.. apa seh gue... ^_^

"2 DAYS UNTIL HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX"

why you ask? it's my first day of period, and when you're having this kinda pain every month, you're bound to have this heavy mood swing. my sugesstion.... go as far away as you can from me. he he i'm just kidding. on second thought, no i'm not.

could be the stress also.... my room is so messy that i'm so sick of it right now. but id on't have the extra day to re-arrange it and put thing where they should. It started to get messy when Lady was sick, after that there's just no sense in put things in order coz by the time Lady is better, my house already being renovated and my room was being used as 'the room' to be since its the only room downstair that wasn't being renovated also. and now, i'm just having to many things to do at once that there's no way i can stop a day or two to clean the room.
A day or two??? yup. Not because my room is big, but there's just too many thing in a small room and i'm a perfectionist slash procrastinator. you get the idea?
Hopefully by next week there's some gap in the week where I can re-do my room... the condition right now just really pisses me off at times.

Saw on E!News today about Harry Potter. Gulianna predicting the next character who would be killed in Book 5... and I started to cry!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY Gosh..... it's just another E! playful thingy, i mean the reasons she gave were: becasue he's over weight, he's been at Azkaban and when you're playing with a dragon, you're bound to get fire! Isn't that hilarious but true? She's talking 'bout Hagrid of course whose btw also my prediction whose gonna be dead. I don't necessarily happy about it but that's my guess. The thing that shocked me was, I didn't realize how on edge I was about this waiting for Book 5 thing. (but then again I did put the "clock" of '....day until HP & the OTP' on my computer) But now, after seeing the book (hard cover; adult version cover, non the less!! aiyoooo ) on telly since yesterday... I'm very very on edge! and I don't think it'll stop until i actually get that book on my own hand. I mean, did waiting for more than a year for the next Harry Poter book.. i didn't even have a name back then, we just called it "Book 5". Which remind me, that girl still hasn't return my Book 4! Ooohh.. and book 5 is gonna be thicker!! Oh.. can't wait to lock myself in my room and finish reading the book in one go! AAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH
The only thing that topping that book is Dave!! *wink wink* ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

gosh.... can't believe i cried over that book .....
and.. waduuuhhhhhhhhhhhh... there go another 250 ribu just for one book! tapi, kalo ada yang versi bahasa indonesia available duluan.... damn it! i'm gonna read that version. nyebelin or not yang penting baca dulu.... jadi nyesel telat, pre-order di QB. Aduh gileeee.. 2 hari lagi nihhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....................

4 DAYS UNTIL HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX

wow.... it's been a while since write this thing down... feeling kinda rusty..he he he he coz these few days I used to wrote articles or text book kinda language and now i'm feeling like..hmmm how do i used to write down my journal??
then i remembered.. oh yeah. i just wrote it down, which means i got no style he he he he man, i'm lame! ha ha ha ha but that's okay, i still like me ^_^

let me see...
lately, apart from my traslating work which already making me glued to my seat, i have this gig with SFC. Yup, guess its official that I'm in now, like it or not, and i'm responsible for the club's bulletin (editing, writing, gathering the news etc etc) and calling some record companies for info of their artist. So many new things that I've to learn and do at the same time... i mean, no theory what to do in the beginning.. just a few tricks and advice from Yovie and then i just got to do it. My biggest challenge got to be the calling up, coz i've never.. NEVER been comfortable in calling up strangers..when i had to call someone up for info for example.. it took me quite some time to prep myself up; what to say, what to ask etc etc. It just horrid, and you know its true coz whenever I finish making that rare phone call, my hands are cold! I think I prefer doing presentation than making phonecalls... at least with presentation I know how prepared I am... ^_^

I guess so far the thing is good, I'm not a real stranger anymore.. to the place, to the other members and owner and all that stuff, and now I just have to prove my work to them... please pray for me that i can do alright.. okay, coz even though now i know the many obsticle behind it, when it come to the basic why i wanna do this job... well, because basically i like it, and i always want to do stuff like this..so let's see how it all works... Gods be.

Last weekend gotta be one of the happiest for me though.. now I can proudly say that I have all David Tao's album. Hiyaaaaaaaaaaa gue demen banget.... It's kinda weird though, let me explain. It started last year after watching several of his MVs on MTV i thought..he's not bad actually, like some of his stuff, but it never really registered coz then i'm off to Bali for a holiday. Kinda bummed out when i remember now coz the month that i was in Bali, David was artist of the month on MTV, so i never got to watch all the special feature/programme on him. Although I did watch one of his special 'serious' interview coz to my surprise my dad's telly in Bali got some of the chinese channels!! My poor parents.. i hug their telly at times when we weren't going out. I made them listen to Energy, F4 (Lilo & Stich OST), and Kiss of the Toast!! ha ha ha ha. And I blast the volume of the CD player from my room next door with CD from Jay Chou, Energy and Lee Hom! hmmm i beginning to miss that room now...

Anyway, when I got back to Jakarta a month later, i found his Black Tangerine CD at PS. At the time I was like.."hmm,should i buy this or not?" kinda mood. But I bought it and like it and now I just totally loved it. I became a fan. *_^ Then last December on my rare trip in TA I found his second album, I'm OK, (Black Tangerine was his third) and it cost like hell... man that was just too darn expensive!! Harganya sama dengan harga Bio nya si Lee Hom yang lo pesen itu Bu Jay! Lucky me, at the time I was with my brother *_^ and he paid half! Not only that, he also bought me the Vanness 'Body Will Sing' imported CD... aren't you glad I'm not your sister he he he he ^_^ And so, after more than 2 months, I think, waiting for My Idol Shop to find my order, last weekend I finally got it on my hand. What was my order? David Tao's first album, Taoism. And it cost less than I think i would be..115 ribu and the CD had a bonus of VCD of 3 MVs. I had this silly grin on my face the moment i held that CD... you can confirm it with Bu Jay then you'll know i'm not lying.. he he he he he he

Some might find it irritating I guess, coz his CDs are not your typical all songs like many CD that we've used too. I noticed this on two major artists, Jay Chou and David Tao. They both like to insert non-musical instrument sounds into their songs and yet, it sounds great. They blend it so well with the song and the music that it just seems natural that all those sounds were in it.. even if it was the sound of a man's burping! In this aspect they're different than Lee Hom. Lee Hom not only have music in his blood but also he got master degree in it. So a lot of his songs are musically mix and experimented. One thing about Lee Hom that i find so different (and maybe lacking) is that..I can not find his "signature" in his songs from all his albums. I can 'sense' it with Jay Chou' and David Tao's works... but not in Lee Hom. So its like, no matter how a great artist/musician he is, its kinda a shame that I can not find "him" in his works. Maybe that's why Jay invited David to be his guest and not Lee Hom??? *shrugg* who knows lah... this is just MHO anyway..

Back to Dave... *_^ I love it that in Taoism David inserted some personal stuff in between his songs or at the end of the CD, such as their screw up attempt at vocal harmonizing, phone messages (now i know what his parents call him.. *_^ he he he he) and to my surprise, there's an intro in bahasa!! only 2 sentences but hey... i understand it! ha ha ha ha ha Love the CD... love all his CD.... can't wait for his next one. Kapan yah bisa nonton konsernya..... *deep sigh* Mr. David Tao, if you're reading this...please come visit your fans in Jakarta!!! And please make an English album.... please please pretty please with cherry on top! Unless of course you prefers hot chocolate fudge, or whipped cream. Lho.. when did this request turned into ice cream suggestion?? ^_*

Selain mas Dave (hiyaaa mas Dave?? he he he), I also got a double CD of Kenji Furuya's works (with his froup & other artists) for only 55 thousand lho! Sure it's old CD but still... it's him. Okay, who is Kenji Furuya you ask? He's the front man of japanese hip-hop group Dragon Ash. He's hot! Watch one of the group old MV on Global TV. Maylee notice sumthin'... "sis, you've got a thing with cowok jenggotan yah?" whua ha ha ha ha. iya sih.. tapi yah tergantung orangnya juga dong... masak iya kakek-kakek tetangga gue yang jenggotan gue cem-cemin juga...

Bu Jay: Konnichiwa...o-genki desu ka? Udah di telpon Yovie belom? Dikau dapet kerjaan tuh. Nulis short report on Energy PressCon kemaren (coz you're in it kan.. itung-itung bisa skalian ceritain tentang "kejadian mesra" dengan Niu Nai itu.. *wink wink* ha ha ha ha) dan kalo nggak salah nulis the latest news tentang Li Wei juga deh (you have to find the news yourself i'm afraid.. just browse around) Tadinya mau si Tabita.. but, gue nggak yakin kalo dikasi ke dia at this time....maybe next time... so ... two short articles.. give it to me by the end of the week okay..? ^_^ Arigato ne.

Okke my dear: i miss you!!!!!! he he he he bawaab tiap abis ngomong ama elo di telpon .. he he he. kapan nih ketemuan. Gue udah liat tuh yang elo suruh liat... tapi belom gue really see it. Cuma emang dasar... keanehan dan keisengan itu runs in the family yah..ha ha ha ha ha

12 days until Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix

Wah, kayaknya laporan untuk richie ren presscon udah basi yah... gomen ne.. i'm just so not in the mood to write a journal for these few days..but write i must.. say no to procrastinatorism.. apa seehh..

tau nih,kayaknya lagi banyak maunya, jadi kalo nggak kesampaian yah agak-agak BT gitu.. dan alhasil journal pun terbengkalai..

waktu richie ren itu gue dateng setengah jam lebih awal dari waktu janji ama Yovie.. which was better than late, right? tadinya gue bingung setengah mati gimana kesana nya, udah my wallet lagi tipis bener lagi. untungnya pas malem-malem my sister in law got home, gue tanya aja apa the driver bisa nganterin gue dan ternyata..tidak dong! karena udah ada plan terlebih dulu untuk mengantar si Romo Gabster ke bengkel, tapi kalo gue ikut pas nganterin my sis ke kantor..gue bisa di drop ke tempat tujuan. ya wess lah.. itu aja udah bagus banget, toh gue janjian nya pagi ini. So besoknya brangkatlah kita, setelah sebelumnya nanya-nanya ke nyokap dan my brother how to get to Gn. Sahari. Pas waktu dijalan bingung juga sih, abis petunjuknya cuma "ya itu ntar kalo abis dari kantornya kan belok kiri, ya udah terus aja itu ke Senen, dari Senen terus aja..itu udah Gn. Sahari..." what a clue ey? I'm sure the Amazing Race has more clue than that. jadilah kita the blind leading the blind. Tapi setelah bingung.. ikutin arah papan jalan..bungung lagi.. ngikutin lagi.. tanya orang... nyrai-nyari lagi... sampe deh kita...

setelah itu, ternyata ada kesalah pahaman. yang boleh masuk itu cuma 2 orang, sedangkan si Yovie daftarin 3 orang. Setelah tunggu-tunggu dan atas bantuan dari seseorang (arigato ne..) akhirnya gue masuk juga. Dan nggak sampe 10 menit kemudian para press people disuruh masuk. Waktu baru mulai gue cuma dapat motret dari pinggir karena para photographer yang lebih gede dan prof dari gue udah duluan di depan. Pas udah disuruh duduk supaya Q&A session nya bisa dimulai gue merapat ke dinding. Eh ternyata masih ada satu dua orang yang curi-curi motret juga...ikut ah... *_^ Pas mulai, yang ngomong translatornya dulu dan the man from Hailai Ancol. Eh gue liat masih ada aja satu, dua orang photographer nge-jongkok disitu.. ikutlah gue. Dan me and this other guy stay put. Wah posisi gue yang kalo minjem istilahnya Maya, PW banget. Posisi Wuenak gitu.. soalnya gue kira-kira 2 meteran didepan si mas richie ini. he he he Akhirnya gue jongkok disitu sampe pegel-pegel sambil moto-moto sambil berbisik-bisik a little with the other guy yang ternyata photographer nya Bintang Millenia, gue tawarin Polo deh.. abis haus juga lho.. Tau nggak ternyata si Richie ini, lebih mulus dan putih dari yang di tv lho... gue aja yang bukan fans sempet takjub juga.. wah, cakep juga nih mas satu. Dan gokilnya, waktu dia ngomong, gue secara ndak sadar merhatiin dia seolah-olah gue ngerti dia ngomong apaan.. padahal nggak sama sekali! he he he Yah itulah hasilnya kalo telinga udah terbiasa ama bahasanya. Trus yang bikin gue ngomentarin 'whuah' lagi... ada fans nya dia yang ngikutin dari luar indonesia! Ada yang dari Taiwan, Hong Kong dan Jepang!!! Busettt dah, loyal amat yak?? Berapa tuh biayenye... dan kenapa juga gue jadi betawi gini...he he he he

Selesai dari PressCon gue balik, Lydia juga. Yovie stayed with Ibu and Edward and Kang Huei, coz they've already had a lunch date. Sebenarnya gue sih diajak ama Yovie, cuma nggak enak ah, kayak dadakan gitu, maybe next time. Foto-foto PressCon-nya baru tadi gue masukin untuk dicuci cetak karena baru tadi malem abis untuk motretin tempayan koleksi nyokap jaman di Kalimantan dulu yang sekarang mau dijualin, ama took 3 pics of the house, biar bokap bisa liat 'wujud' nya kayak apa sekarang.

Kabar lainnya? Selama beberapa hari yang akan datang (or maybe for a couple of weeks) gue bakalan di "training" si Yovie. Why? Karena bulan depan Yovie bakalan berangkat ke taiwan untuk kuliah, dan gue bakalan jadi salah satu pengurus yang ngegantiin dia. Kayaknya gue (and later Bu Jay also) in charge di bagian bulletin and contacting the media/record labels. I'm really looking forward to this you know, I don't see this as a lightly thing, I see it as a chalengge for the future because it's been a dream of mind to work in the entertainment industry, i mean that's where my passion is and i want to proved it to my family that my craziness on music and movies is not a waste of time and money. I want this to work, and I see that SFC does have potential. We'll see how it goes, but I really hope it'll work out for the better, for me and for the SFC itself. Wish me luck on doing the things I will be doing okay guys ^_^

And as relation to that, I had to find another way other than by car or cab going to SFC HQ. And by last Saturday, Priwitan-chan kindly accompanying me menelusuri jalan. I frantically SMS-ing anybody who I thought knew the way to Jl. Pangeran Jayakarta. And finally I had to ask my mum, after we both look through the Jakarta's map, we found out that it actually wasn't that far from Stasiun Kota (kereta). So last Saturday, after Pritha finished her class, we went to stasiun and pasang muka sok PD. Maybe coz we're condong ke very tomboyish look jadi people don't really pay attention. Sampe di stasiunkota, gue perhatiin itu angkot-angkot yang berjejer didepan stasiun..kok nggak ada yang ke arah SFC, adanya malah ke Mangga Dua semua. Akhirnya kita tanyalah ama bapak-bapak yang teriak-teriak supaya penumpang memenuhi itu angkot-angkot, ternyata kita harus nunggu bis no. 17 atau metromini 29. Eh pas baru abis nanya itu bis gede ijo dateng. Setelah sempet bingung sebentar nyari-nyari akhirnya dapet juga!!! Eh setelah itu kan kita ke Blok M, soalnya gue pengen nyetak kartu nama, si gonggo baru telpon, mau ngasih tau jalan... ya telat lah pak. Pencarian sudah selesai..tapi dia bilang kalo gue aturannya bisa turun di stasiun yang sebelumnya stasiun kota, karena komplek perkantorannya right behind/under the train station. Wah kalo gitu..musti pencarian lagi dong.. but at least for the time being gue udah dapetlah. Senengnya.... ^_^ bu jay.. kapan kita ke sana using public transportation nih..he he he he

Hari minggu, setelah gereja gue janjian ketemu bu jay di BP, karena abis itu kita mau ke TA, ketemuan ama anak-anak milis Energyindo *_^ he he he he he he
Setelah ketemuan, kita bikin heboh tidak saja di Fuji waktu mau nyetak foto-foto Energy yang kita belom punya, tapi karena jalannya selalu berombongan gitu kita sempet juga diliatin orang-orang, apalagi pas pada sempet heboh begitu liat foto-foto Energy yang lain.. pake tereak-tereak kecil gitu deh... buset.. serasa ketemu artisnya lagi kali yah he he he he he. Gue cuma bisa cengar-cengir aja. Setelah diliat-liat,kayaknya foto-foto dari yang punya gue sendiri dan Bu Jay udah cukup deh, walaupun sedikit dan nggak bagus2 amat, at least i took them.. that's where the satisfaction is. Kalo ada foto yang bikin gue puas banget walaupun bukan gue yang ambil.... so pasti kalo gue fotoan bareng Energy lah..he he he he he aduh, kapan yah bisa foto bareng KunDa... ^_^ And so a tall hot Macchiato at Starbbucks jadi pelipur lara.

Bu Jay akhirnya beli CD Li Wei juga, setelah ngopi dari gue ternyata dia suka albumnya dan pengen beli aslinya (bu Jay...inget.. bon nya disimpen baek-baek yah, just in case! *_^) Gue pun nitip beli, walaupun udah punya kopian-nya akhirnya nggak tega melihat ibu itu panik nyari-nyari apa ada diantara mereka punya CD Energy versi yang satu lagi ( ada 3 versi, so far, 1 yang biasa..itu waktu baru keluar, yang satu lagi versi long package+ bonus vcd MV & iklan RaMen nya Energy, dan yang terakhirnya + bonus vcd MV dan behind the scene waktu Energy bikin pictorial book di Jepang.) Bu Jay punya yang +iklan Ramen, dan kemaren akhirnya gue beli yang +behind the scene dengan syarat yah pake credit card dia dulu baru later on gue ganti, coz i don't bring enough money. Sampe sekarang gue belum liat itu bonus behind the scenenya karena langsung di culik ama bu Jay!!! ha ha ha ha ha, Tresia-chan.. elo bener-bener jadi lebih heboh boh boh dari gue deh.... ampunnnnnn.

Tapi yang bikin gue betul betul emosi jiwa.. CD yang selama ini gue cari-cari ada di WOM TA!!! Amei Namuro/Suite Chic dan MOBSQUAD (Japanese HipHop) arrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh. Pulang dari TA, langsung siap-siap tongkrongin TV, karena SCTV bakalan muter live concert nya Energy waktu di Grand Manhattan Hotel Borrobudur. (and SMS-ing as many people as possible untuk nonton...he he he promosi pemaksaan!) Wah..bagus lho...here's my take after watching it:
-kenapa juga audience nya banyak di shoot.. yang kita pengen liat kan Energy nya bukan para penonton nya..aiyyooo
-sebel intro lagu suka kepotong endingnya wawancara.. kan dance intronya juga penting untuk diliat *_^
-both thumbs up for SCTV yang mensubtitling wawancaranya instead of that annoying dubbing style!!! (*cough*indosiar on f4*cough*)
- Tampang mereka lucu dan bandel-bandel iseng waktu diwawancara.. seneng aja ngeliatnya
-ADi dan Toro suka bahasa indonesia??? Yup, that's what they said. Abis katanya bahsanya lucu.. banyak rrrrrrrrrrr nya gitu. Tapi, knapa pula si Toro jadi mau ngajarin kita bahasa taiwan?? he he he tapi..mau dong diajarin sama Toro... *_^ Hello toro, O-genki desu ka? Watashi no namae wa Ira desu. Itterasshai ^_^ bodo ah.. pokoke gue harus belajar bahsa jepang lebih baik!
-Nggak puasssss, pengen liat lagi... and so gue udah nulis email ke SCTV dong, minta di puter/siarin lagi. Masak kalah ama f4... he he he he

btw.. it seems that I've been discussing a lot about Asian movies & music much that some people thought ihis place is a web site on that. I'm sorry if I mis-lead you, but this is my personal journal on things that happend to me or what i've been doing everyday. This is a blog, not a website on asian artist. Eventhough my entries lately might makes you think that way, but that was just me, talking about the asian movies and music that happend to cross my daily life. So sorry if I can't discuss about something specific...unless of course I happened to like that movie/musician too.

And for all those people who soesn't like this blog of mine... i don't make this blog for your approval. So if you like it then thank you, if you don't like it..well, that's your prerogative. I have no time for people who disrespect others. I believe there are a lot of other people who can make this world a nicer world to live in. To actually take the time to write down bad language and opinion on other people that you don't even know..it just show how small minded you are and frankly i don't care much for those kind of people. I have better thing to do with my life to actually care for people who can appriciate it. So why I wrote this down? Coa I want to let my opinion out once and for all on this matter, and beside.. once more.. this is my personal blog.. i write what i like and do what i like with it. I didn't ask you to come here... ^_^

I'm rather sleepy... haven't got my lunch yet and not enough sleep last night (so what else is new.. teriakan dari belakang terdengar nyaring.. he he he he). Just got back from Richie Ren Press Conference at Sheraton Hotel. Will tell you all about it when my mind and body is one piece, 'kay? *_^
Y'know, for a 37 y/o man.... he looks good. Not bad.. not bad at all.... ^_^
Just found out from Kang Huei (gomenasai... i don't know how to spell your name.. ) that David Tao is under Sony. So... Lee Hom, Jay Chou and David Tao under one label... WOW!! Hopefully great stuff coming out of this.... Gambatte ne Dave...!!

19 days to Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix

Yesterday after church me, my Mum and my aunt went to Plaza Senayan. I just wanted to go out for a bit plus I wanna check out the music store there, who knows they might got the Dragon Ash CD (Japanese HipHop group) that I'm looking for.

Went to Starbuck first for some much needed caffeine... totally my fault but I was up for the longest hour watching Kiss of the Toast Boy II (again). Was going to watch the first series but I guess the player refuse bad copies again, coz sometime I have no problem playing vcd nggak resmi itu, but other times the player just refused...*sigh* So by midday my eyes were already hard to open.

I took a picture of us at the Starbuck he he he he. You see, my brother's pocket camera has this tiny mirror-like at the top where you can flip it up when you need it. What's it for? Taking self picture! You know how sometimes we want to take our own picture but there's nobody around and so you just turn the camera to yourself and hoping when you push the click button, your face was in it? Well, this mirror makes it so that we can take a better aim of ourself and other thing behind us too. It's a very handy thing to have in a camera, specially when the photohgrapher is someone like me. I love taking pictures but I want to be in it too *_^

I took that camera to the Energy concert just because it's so slim I can smuggled it in just in case we're not allowed to take 'normal size' camera. In the middle of the concert I remember the mirror and point the camera to my self, making sure that my face (or part of my face) was in with the Energy on stage behind me..he he he he pretty cool huh? I can't wait to see the result. I just hope that it'll turn out okay..and not just a blurry picture of bright lights and a wide forehead!! @_@

I only use 3/4 of the film on the concert and use the remaining taking pictures of me and my dogs, me and some gals at church and that one last pic with me Mum and Aunty. If it turn out good, I have a feeling I'll use it often, even though the film is double the price of the usual film. Why oh why my hobbies always in the expensive side... even with cross sticth! Such a bummer I tell you.

I didn't find the Dragon Ash CD, but I saw Takuya Komatsu' & Lee Hom' Japanese version CD. Didn't buy them coz I think Komatsu can wait and the songs in Lee Hom Jap CD are the songs from his previous Chinese album. And I got them all already, so why bother? Although he does looks very nice in that CD cover *_^ The darn store was being renovated so all the CDs & tapes were stack in different racks which kinda confusing, and with my Mum waiting outside the store, I just don't have the time to look through everything. So I went to Bulletin next door, and their Asian collection is kinda poor compare to Duta Suara, although I ended up buying a few things.

~ Lee Wei 1st Album CD, even though I know the CD has been out since January and I'm a fan of him, his songs doesn't really get to me (saw all the available MVs on MTV), but I guess after watching him again last night in that tv series that I love... well, I got sentimental ^_^

~ F4 Fantasy Live Concert in HongKong 2003. he he he he mumpung lagi murah! ha ha ha ha Well.. for ol' time sake lah, beside it has it moments. Ken playing the guitar is always a nice thing to watch, then he's effort to dance old fashion way (or non old fashion way) while he's actually just a rock n' roll kinda guy who likes to jumped up and down while singing. But I'm glas he looks good in all his stage costume, well except the blue boots which part of the Pepsi thingy. Then there's Vanness with all his dacing craze.... somebody please give him some Prozac... coz sometimes he made this dance moves while its kinda unnecessary (doesn't match the ballad song)But he looks ok, even with the attempted curly hair. But I think Okke will still love him *_^ And then Zai Zai a.k.a. Vic Chou. I really like his voice, and he's just so cute to watch. I even love his little bit of dancing... truly like watching him. And I also realized that I never got tired of hearing his 'Make A Wish' CD (solo album). The ballad songs are just so sweet to listen to without being too sappy. I can't wait for his 2nd album. Although in costume department... he really should get over those wintery themes.
Aah... you notice I haven't said a word on Jerry's performance? hhmmmm... consider me being nice to him today.... gomen ne Jerry's fans.

There's a a little thing that I think was funny when I paid for those stuff. The cashier was in the mid of doing something so they didn't use the cash register machine or whatever you called that thing. So when I realized I didn't get a receipt I asked for one. They say the machine was being use and so I asked if I can have some other sort of receipt such as done manually or something, and then the cashier actually stopped whatever she's doing and made me a receipt. he he he he. Why am i insist of having one? Because I was so bummed out when I found out that to get the free ticket to Energy concert all I had to do was bring the tape/CD and the receipt to be exchanged with a ticket. Goodness, I've bought the tape months before that.. of course i didn't keep the receipt! So now, just in case Lee Wei is coming to town and they use the same technique...I'll keep the receipt!! He he he he he maksa banget yah gue.. I did say thank you...twice! *_^

We didn't stay long though in PS... for once my eyes were really really hard to open. I didn't even bother to eat lunch although it's already 3 pm. At least I found the correct length of a silver necklace at Perlini for my silver cross, got my tapes, and some Cinnamon pastry!! Yummmmmm.....

Bu Jay...!!!!!! aaarrrggghhh si KunDa lucu skaleeeeee!! Biar deh pendiem banget... lucunya itu nggak nahanin! ha ha ha ha ha. Kawaii ne KunDa. ^_^
btw, kmaren di E-news.. si Fan Yi Chen duet ama si ZChen. Trus Inget nggak harga biografi Lee Hom di MYS berapa? Kalo nggak salah hampir 200 kan? Kok gue liat di Bintang Asia cuma 130 (termasuk ongkos kirim)? Trus Pictorial nya Energy 125 dan 5566 juga 125. yg mahal malah pictorial nya Lee Wei 150. Oya trus di situ juga di kasih alamat kalo mau kirim surat or something ke Energy (alamat Taiwan). Kira-kira beneran nggak yah? Kalo iya kan we can send the you know what... *_^

The Energy promo concert review:

I was not disappointed. I was not disappointed at all!!
Dress in black and white (except for KunDa who wore maroon Converse t-shirt; same style as Toro but Toro was in white) they rocked the "Grand Manhattan" in Borrobudur Hotel, Jakarta. The show started at 8.30 pm as scheduled and welcome by screaming fans who have waited since 6 pm.

The show opened with "Come On" to the delight of fans who recognized the energetic song. From then on they sang all the hits from their "Come On" album and "Invincible" album. They put the ballads into a medley though. In between they did try to chat with the fans who answered almost all the question with a scream. Why? Because of the language barrier. Although most of the people in the place were chinese, it doesn't necessarily means they can speak the language fluently, they're as confuse as the 100% Indonesian blood when Energy spoke which I think was very unfortunate, although it doesn't lessen the excitement. The members of Energy introduce themself one by one, and KunDa even said "saya cinta kamu!" (I love you!) to the delight of the fans while Shu Wei asked "apa kabar?" (how are you?)

The members who got screamed the most were probably Toro and Niu Nai. Toro, I think because the fans missed him the day before at the airport, press conference and meet & greet. And his new hair cause a bit of confusion too, not because he looked less than before but it does change his looks. Niu Nai was just because he was so energetic all through the night, specially when it come to his dance which the fans just loved. KunDa has got to be the most inactive member, because except for his great dancing and rap, he stayed quite and just go with the flow. But that doesn't mean he didn't get a scream or two, in fact, at the press conference the day before, the fans who waited outside were screaming his name so loud that it can be heard just as loud in the pres conference room, causing him and the other reporters and members of the band to laugh. Ah-Di's voice that night really left the audience to sigh in amazement, he danced just as energetic as the others and yet his singing voice still got some power. ShuWei got to be the most friendly because his lips was always smiling all through the concert, and he even take the time to stop whenever he spotted a fan trying to take pictures of him. He would take a few step closer and pose for a second or two.

Musically speaking, for the fans, the concert was very very satisfying and mind blowing. Leaving us wanting to have a longer and real concert. For the other people who came but has no idea who Energy was, I think it's a safe bet to say that they'll come again next time with the same eagerness as the fans. I was standing a bit behind at the concert, and the audiences around me was mostly grown ups and the numbers of men were almost the same as women. They were applauding, and 'wow'-ing when they saw the concert. They enjoyed the whole thing. I was not expecting to hear their real voices to come out so good, I understand with all those dance moves something else must've give right, but I was really surprised when they sound even better than the CD. I think most of the non-fans audiences thought the same too. At that time, I was a proud Energy fans. And I just hope the numbers their fans in Indonesia will keep on adding.

A truly one hour worth spent! I had to say that was one of the best night in my life that month. Jia You ENERGY!!!

personal note:
You know how picture can tell a different story or perspective than the real thing right? so here's my take of seeing the Energy members from 'pictures' to 'in person view'.
Ah-Di : he's a man's man. Very broad shoulder and athletic body. He's much more taller and bigger in real life.
NiuNai: Skin like milk, no wonder his nick name is milk. Very friendly and polite too.
ShuWei: ShuWei's case reminded me of Ken Zhu's case when F4 came to Jakarta. They've their own legion of fans but the numbers were't as high as for the other members. But then when people see him in real life they're very surprised how much more gorgeous he is in real life. ShuWei is like that, plus with his very friendly attitude, you can't escaped his charm.
KunDa: When you see KunDa in all those poster and video clips, that's what you get when you see him in real person. All the expression and emotions, it's so uncannily the same! So much so that we couldn't stop talking in amazement just how much he look like his pictures. Very cute.
Toro: hmm, Toro with his new hair. I think I'm still adjusting with his new hair style and colour right now. He looks different than his pictures, not sure if that because of the hair too, but he looked so cute in his pictures while in real he's real gorgeous. More man-ly looking.
And as a group I can only discribe them as: unstoppable!
