well... another day of being unproductive and this coughing & flu really p****s me off now. I can't remember what could triggered it off so suddenly and bad since the first day. Aren't you supposed to go to 'stages' before having a real bad cough? Coz mine just happened so suddenly and mine is the worst in the house. Although I think today the medicines has kicking in.. a little. At least my stomache area isn't hurt anymore whenever I cough. Hopefully tomorrow won't cough as much.

Tomorrow will be the last Lithurgy in the Holy Week, and I hope I'll be able to attend. I've missed everything in this Holy Week, so I really wanna go tomorrow real bad! I know it's gonna be longest and the toughest [prediction: it'll start at 9 pm and might be last 'till 2-3 am] but tomorrow.. or should I say the day after tomorrow, is the end of the Holy Week.

And as usual, during Holy Week the church will be full, not only with the local people but with the foreigners who we don't see much. And although we have a Greek Embassy, a Russian Embassy... you won't see them much on Sundays.. except last year when we mr. Anthony still here, but i think he's Arabic American & the first non-indonesian orthodox who took part an active at the whole procession in the Holy Week. I've seen some of the Greek people from Embassy and not, but very rarely. And most of the time only on Holy Week [don't think I've seen them on X-mas] I think Michael was from Russian Embs. Dunno where he is now though, haven't seen him in a long time too.

We also got a new "keranda" this year. Atas nya sekarang ada kubah2 khas gereja Orthodox.



Waktu hari minggu kemaren pertama kali ngeliat keranda yang baru... yang emang lebih gede dan bagus... gw mikir.. apa yang ngangkat nggak berat?? Coz it looks heavy dan dari kayu semua gitu. Dan gue inget kejadian tahun kemaren, yang walaupun kerandanya nggak segede yang sekarang, it still heavy when you lift it up. But you know what? The men who carried them said... it wasn't heavy at all. Suddenly they just don't feel the heaviness of it all anymore.

Hmm agak lupa prosesi arak-arakan keranda itu sekali atau dua kali. Kemaren, ikon Kristus diturunkan dari atas salib [di gereja Orthodox, didalam Ruang Maha Suci di depan Meja Altar, ada salib dengan Ikon Kristus] dan epitaphios diletakkan di dalam keranda, trus berbagai macam bunga ditaburkan diatasnya. Dan hari ini yaitu Jum'at Agung, dimana ada Ibadat Duka Cita dan keranda itu diarak mengelilingi gereja.
